G'day ladies and gents, Well, school has already started. Unfortunately, that means I won't have as much time for cosplays and reenacting, but that's what weekends are for! Not close enough to home to commute, but I go home on weekends. The nursing program here is incredibly competitive, so I gotta study my butt off (again) so I can finally apply in February! Oh, and before I forget, I may be studying abroad in Edinburgh, Scotland next school year, so that should be exciting! Who knows- maybe I'll be able to do some historical reenacting up there! Good day everyone, I can't believe CTCon is already this upcoming weekend! I'm aiming to go two days this year, but I'll probably only be able to go one (because DAYUM, it can get expensive), but I'll definitely wearing James Kidd again (not sure which day). The second day I'll probably wear my reenacting uniform without the musket and such. I didn't even attempt Lagertha since it involved a ton of leather, and I was quite busy with work, reenacting, and such! I'll try to add some finishing touches to Kidd, even though I only have a couple days (and both of them are busy)! Hope to get some good photos up of both days! Tomorrow, some member

Once again, I have changed my mind for a new cosplay this year for CTCon! I will be planning to go as Lagertha from one of my favorite shows, Vikings. If you haven't seen the show and if you like history, intense battles and epic shiz, this is the show for you! I'll hopefully get my supplies soon and start early (since this con isn't until July). I'll be going as her in her "battle" outfit, but I'll have to chose which season (most likely season 1). And if I go a second day, I'll wear my James Kidd cosplay that I made last year! As for the Edward Kenway cosplay, I'll perhaps do it another time, perhaps next year. Alas, I am a college studen
